First paycheck of the year (and really of the past 2 years) came in the mail yesterday. And what did I do with it? I fed myself with 2 of my greatest passions: music and fashion. Cue jokes about what a walking cliche I am and while you’re at it, go to hell… oh my god, just kidding! Back to the point… I purchased Cage the Elephant’s “Live at the Vic” DVD. Have you ever loved music so much it moved you to tears? This is really only a question I have for the males because I know a lot of females that react to music in the same way. Anyway, this DVD will make you crazy, the good kind. This is a band that you MUST see live, it’ll make you feel young and high and completely freed from whatever is chaining your little soul.
Next thing I did was purchase my first pair of L.A.M.B. wedges. I have wanted these for about 4 years now and I finally felt the urge to satisfy the craving, without regret! I am going to eat these shoes for breakfast, lunch and dinner…
I know it sounds stupid, but these two things are what feed me. They fulfill my soul. And for now, I’m full!
